Scrap your tree Challenge @theStudio

It's that time of the year. Lots of fun challenges awaits at theStudio! Go check them out! The challenge I chose to participate in is Scrap your tree. We haven't decorated this year's tree yet, but last year's tree even has a nice tale about how it came to be. Thing was that my father in law hadn't had time to get a tree until they were all gone. So my darling hubbie had to go out in knee deep snow in the forrest to fetch one. Let me tell you that that is not an easy task. And he ended up with getting the first one he found and this was really the top of one large tree.
Kit used is Digilicious Designs' Believe and the folded edge comes from Gunhild. Font is called Primer Print.
It didn't look too bad once we've decorated it, but I think it is photogenic... :P I'ts very wide and flat. But it did it's job and we did have a nice Christmas. :)

December Color Challenge @theStudio

Once again I have entered in the color challenge at the Studio. I couldn't help myself. I loved the palette, and Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year. This is the kit I came up with:
download link is found here

I hope you will enjoy playing with it as much as I do! And just because it's Christmas and all, I made a QP to go with it. Here's how my kids look in it. :)

Leave some love if you do chose to download either, one or both! :)

November Color Challenge at theStudio

I finally finished my contribution to the November challenge. Took me some time and I really take off my (imaginary) hat to those who design full kits! How ever do they find the time? I really liked the colours of this palette, and is quite pleased with the result! How do you like it?

Let's see if I can make some backgrounds and QPs to share with you soon. I'm off to make my other (swedish) blogs into wintery christmassy wonder lands and hopefully I will end up sharing some new backgrounds in my other blog! Thanks for watching! :)

Happy scrapping! I would love to see what you do with my kit, don't hesitate to drop me a line here, or in an email.

Featured Designer Challenge at theStudio

Finally I had time to enter in the featured designer challenge at theStudio again! These weeks' (1-15 nov) designer is Paper Caper Designs. I really hope I win the kit! I really liked the colouring and enjoyed working with it. This is my LO

For those of you who are familiar with my work, you know I'm a bit fond of using round shapes in my designs. When I saw the rounded frames I just knew what to do! :) I'm very pleased with how it turned out! :)

September Color Challenge at the Studio

I haven't been scrapping for a while and had actually forgotten to log in at the Studio. I found the challenges, because I do like a challenge and sometimes it's just easier to make stuff when people tell you what to do. Well, this time, I decided to try to make my own kit with the palette given for the challenge. And what a challenge it was! :P But I made it through. and though the preview is kind of messy and I probably could have done more varity I'm quite please with how it turned out. :) What do you think?
I know the content doesn't really follow a clear thought, but I still like it. I'm going to make a QP to go with it soon, promise! Life's just a tiny bit hectic at the moment, being a mother of two and all that... :P

If you want to download, you have to head over to the Studio and grab it! :P Or click here.

August Color Challenge at the Studio

Another challenge with the Studio. I love the fresh colors in the starter kit that Linda Cumberland made for this challenge. Since I'm not a designer (yet, I might be, someday, who knows) I chose to make a LO with that kit. I had the perfect pic of my daughter with an outfit that matches the colors perfectly.

Fonts used are Little Days and Hawaii Lover

Featured Designer Challenge July 16-31

I had such fun with doing the challenge at theStudio with Let me scrapbook that I had to enter again. This time the featured designer is JulieC and the kit to win is Violet Heaven.

I entered with this layout:

The picture is taken on our wedding day nearly 3 years ago. I'm pregnant with my son. :) I played around with the pic in picasa before I added the border in gimp. It is usual a white border too, but I took that away and just used the shadow because I thought it went better with the picture. I have qouted Ronan Keating's When you say nothing at all and the font used is Jane Austen (duh, no surprise there. She is my heroine after all).

Featured Designer Challenge at the Studio

One of my favourite designers, Maurine of Let me scrapbook, has been elected Featured Designer at theStudio, and posted a challenge where you can win one of her digiscrap kits. I just couldn't not enter! I love her stuff! I entered with this LO:

But before I made that one, I did this one too.
I had some trouble deciding on which one to enter with, but went with the first because I just love the affection in the picture. My darling son had just before that picked up his little sister's hand and brought it to his cheeks, pretending she was caressing him. Gah! A mother's heart can only take so much! ♥

Midsummer 2011

Midsummer is one of those very old (I'm thinking middle ages?) pre-Christian holidays we've kept where people get together to dance around the maypole, eat pickled herring and drink a lot.

Children are so beautiful when they are sleeping. (Well behaved, too, :P)

One photo per hour

This is a thing that I usually do every Saturday or Sunday together with a few people from one of the forums that I'm a member in. Instead of just making a collage of pictures I early decided to make LOs with the pictures and write on it what we've been up to that particular day.

This is our Sunday the 12th of June

Welcome

This is a blog to show off my scrapbook designs I do. I've just become a mother of two and have a lot of pics of the children to scrap. :) I usually use my favourites, but sometimes I just search for freebies and find new great designers out there.

You can find my previous scrapbooking here, here and here. Will make a slideshow with the LOs I've done so far.

Don't forget to check out my background designblog if you need to spruce up your blogspot blog.
